Political Correctness, can it destroy America?

Political Correctness, can it Destroy America?

Before we can answer the question, we have to understand what exactly political correctness really is. Political Correctness it’s really nothing more then a way to hide something unacceptable to the general public or to deceive using a noble cause as a facade.

While I’m not sure how long political correctness has been around, the first example that comes immediately to mind is “Pacifist”.

You know those who proclaim that they are against violence for any reason or at any cost? What they are trying to hide with their self-righteous indignation towards those who put their lives on the line everyday so they can sit safely in their air conditioned offices or college lecture hall and make disparaging remarks or comments about those very people that keep them safe from crime or tyranny. In short they are using political correctness to hide their cowardice from the world and using anti-violent rhetoric as their false front.

Obviously Pacifists won’t be found joining the police force and most assuredly the military because they would be exposed to violence and supersonic flying metal. So a few cowards spout their garbage, why are they a danger to America? If pacifists were the only example of political correctness they would remain the cowards they are and few people outside the liberal establishment would pay them any attention.

But what if everything you knew about a historical yet tragic event was completely false? What if this falsehood perpetrated on the American people was nothing but political correctness was designed to cover up the fact that the tragedy could have been avoided but wasn’t because of pure greed? Would you now believe that political correctness was destructive and dangerous?

What if this tragedy was the American Civil War?

The American Civil War had set many precedents none of them good, like for example; Did you know the Union Army was the first modern army to use total warfare (the intentional targeting of both military and civilians as policy)? More then fifty thousand civilians were deliberately slaughtered at the hands of the Union Army.

While I could tell you however I’m not sure you would you would believe me so I will let one of the conspirators speak from the grave. “The Morrill Tariff would enrich the Northern States and impoverish the Southern and Western States. But that it was essential for advancing national greatness and the prosperity of industrial workers.”

This quote was made to a New York audience by Thaddeus Stevens, a Pennsylvania an iron manufacturer, congressman and co-author of the Morrill Tariff. So the deception that the war was about slavery is a farce.

In truth freed slaves were not wanted in the north many northern states such as Illinois, Indiana and Ohio had very strict laws either banning or severely restricting residency. The Proclamation of Emancipation was signed by Lincoln nineteen months after the civil war had begun. So in order to hide their dastardly deed from history, the mantra “save the Union or free the slaves was used at the time of the war and politically correct historians and educators made sure that the PC version was passed down from generation to generation until it became the truth as most people now know it.

So to answer the original question, can political correctness destroy America? Absolutely, If a majority of the American people can believe passionately that slavery was the root cause of the civil war when it was not, then any polarizing issue facing us as a people can be hidden behind a wall of so called nobility.

Look at abortion, the political correctness police of today will shout down anyone who challenges the morality of abortion, they will use rhetoric such as “you are trying to deny women the right to reproductive health” or “you are taking away the rights of women to make choices concerning their own bodies.” Neither of these are true, the issue is, is it moral to burn an unborn child to death with saline, then have it sucked into a garbage can?

See how an immoral act is turned around to seem moral and noble even though it’s not  close to either? That is political correctness that is sucking the life out of America, and by us not shouting back just as loudly as the PC Police then we are assisting them.
